Kensington Gardens
With autumn now very much upon us, London's parks will be awash with bright colours and fallen leaves - but while the seasons are changing, the movie star-pulling appeal of Kensington Gardens remains evergreen. Hollywood names including Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet, Helena Bonham Carter and Renee Zellweger have all frolicked among the foliage during filming breaks. Take a walk in the park this year and you may recognise locations from Finding Neverland, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason and the 2004 romcom Wimbledon, starring Paul Bettany and Kirsten Dunst.
The Thames is crossed by 33 bridges and four tunnels (not including Tube tunnels). The oldest surviving bridge is the Clattern Bridge at Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, which dates back to 1293.
