About this place

Mondrian || Nicholson: In Parallel (16 February – 20 May) – The story of the creative relationship between Piet Mondrian and Ben Nicholson is largely untold yet, during the 1930s, their work was profoundly connected. Their friendship culminated with Mondrian moving to London in 1938, at Nicholson’s invitation, where the two worked in neighbouring Hampstead studios.

Mantegna To Matisse: Master Drawings From The Courtauld Gallery (14 June - 9 September) – This exhibition celebrates the art of drawing and offers a unique opportunity to enjoy some of the very greatest works from The Courtauld’s famous collection. The selection ranges from Renaissance masterpieces by artists such as Mantegna, Dürer, Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, to works by Rembrandt, Cézanne, Van Gogh and Matisse.
