Estorick Collection of Italian Art

Alberto Burri (13 January – 7 April) – Alberto Burri (1915-1995) is acknowledged to be one of the greatest exponents of twentieth- century European art for his radical and highly personal reinvention of artistic language. This exhibition will trace the artist's creative development between 1947 and 1987, ranging from rare, early, figurative works to the later pieces created with sacking, metal, plastic, wood, cellotex and ceramic for which he is undoubtedly best known.
