About this place
The first permanent icebar in the UK is set in the former wine vaults of the British monarchy, where the temperature is kept at a chilly –5C all year round. The bar is operated in 40-minute time slots; the ice comes from the frozen Torne River in Jukkasjarvi, northern Sweden.

To make way for St Pancras Station, a graveyard was demolished and 8,000 bodies removed. You can still see a pile of the old gravestones at St Pancras New Church by the Hardy Tree.
