Synopsis

Tom Hooper directs a chronicle of King George VI’s effort to overcome his nervous stammer. Colin Firth stars as the man plagued by a dreaded stutter and considered unfit to be king. With the help of an unorthodox speech therapist he is able to find his voice and boldly lead the country through WWII.
