Opening at Cadogan Hall, Sloane Square, on August 22, this special concert adaptation of Guys and Dolls will star Dennis Waterman as the narrator, Ruthie Henshall as Adelaide, Anna-Jane Casey as Sarah, Lance Ellington as Sky Masterson and Graham Bickley as Nathan Detroit. The 30-strong Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra will be conducted by Richard Balcombe.
The smash hit numbers keep coming in this colourful, lively and uplifting concert production telling the story of a group of small - time gamblers and the ladies in their lives. Guys and Dolls features classic songs such as: 'Luck Be A Lady', 'Sit Down You're Rocking The Boat', 'If I Were A Bell', 'Sue Me', 'My Time of Day/I've Never Been in Love Before', Take Back Your Mink' and the title song, 'Guys and Dolls'.
To make way for St Pancras Station, a graveyard was demolished and 8,000 bodies removed. You can still see a pile of the old gravestones at St Pancras New Church by the Hardy Tree.
